The overarching goal of the Children’s Program (CP) is to enhance the blind or visually impaired school age child’s learning and ability to function independently, and engage the individual’s parents, guardians, and family members as integral members who can help foster independence.
Building Confidence and Independence for School-Age Children
Our Children’s Program is designed to help children ages 5-13 who are blind or visually impaired develop essential social and academic skills. We focus on building confidence, independence, and the ability to keep pace with their peers at school.
