Eligibility

Who Qualifies for Early Intervention Services?

Our Early Intervention program is available to children who:

  • Are between the ages of 0-5 years
  • Have a diagnosed visual impairment or are at risk for vision loss
  • Are residents of Hillsborough, Polk, or Hardee counties
  • Can benefit from early intervention services
  • Have family support and involvement

  • Florida Early Steps program
  • School districts and educational professionals
  • Self-referral by families
